Continuing to explore Appreciative Inquiry! In the previous episode we discussed why it’s useful to ‘flip’ a problem statement into a positively stated ‘affirmative topic’.
This week, there’s a checklist for a well-defined affirmative topic, an easy way to flip any problem statement, and we’ll finish up with a quick exercise you can try for yourself, or use with a coaching client.

A note about sound quality: in previous episodes it seems there was more background noise than I would want when played on computer speakers (it sounded fine when I was editing it, and when I played back episodes on headphones). I have no idea why that happened, but I’ve found a way to improve the quality, so from this episode the podcast should sound a lot better! I’ll clean up and replace the earlier episodes when I get time.
